Help! Our we have 3 baby kittens and we have no idea what to do next!?

These kittens were born in our flower pot on the front porch, now the mother is missing. These babies were born last week, so they are very new! We just gave them canned evaporated milk through a small meds dispenser. I cannot get to a pet store tonight. I will be able to tomorrow. Can anyone shed some advice on what to do next? We are really nervous because we realize that their lives depend on us! Thanks in advance for your help!

You%26#039;re going to need Tiny Tiger formula, a kitten bottle, and a rough wash cloth, at the very least. Kittens that young can nurse but they cannot go to the bathroom. You%26#039;ll have to help them. Take the wash cloth, a cheap rough one, and get it damp with warm water. (The mama cat would use her rough tongue to clean them and stimulate them that way so you have to simulate that.) Then, going from head to tail, rub firmly but gently down their spines. DO NOT GO BACKWARDS. Keep doing this until they go. Now, the indicator that I always used was bloating. When the kittens start to look full or a little bloated, I would use the wash cloth. If you have a regular vet, give them a call tomorrow and ask if they have a kitten care sheet/documentation for orphans. They may have something on file or may just give you some pointers over the phone.
Reply:ok, i volunteered at a pet shop for about 4 years...i was a %26quot;mom%26quot; many times tho many abandoned kittens at one time! they will definitely need much of your attention. they need to be fed every 2 hours ...after every feeding you will need to have them go potty. get a rag and rub them in there peepee are...ther mother would lick them stimulating them to go....you can go to a pet store and buy canned powdered milk and mix it with milk and warm it.....keep them wrapped in a heating pad...put an alarm clock close by..they will think it%26#039;s ther mother%26#039;s heart beat...to make them even stronger..you can go to the store and buy baby food..(gerber) the chicken kind and siringe feed them...the milk wou will do as well....2 tubes are usually the right amount..if they want more...go right ahead! lol :) please keep me updated...

Kitten Milk Replacement - its expensive and you can get it at a vet, livestock feed store or pet store (livestock feed store will be best price)





this is what they NEED.. - and a vet.. if mom is still missing - they should be surrendered to a vet.. they will require constant care





also you will probably need to wipe their bums with warm wet cloth or cotton ball to make them pee and poop..
